The Preds opened their 08-09 campaign against a familiar foe, the St. Louis Blues. The Preds traveled to the Scottrade Center and were welcomed with lots of hits, and Bluesâ goals. St. Louis used an explosive 2nd period to defeat the visiting Preds 5-2 and end the Preds five game winning streak.
