Tim Panaccio: No Briere, No Vaananen

This won't come as a surprise but as a disappointment to all you Garth-heads in Buffalo ... Danny Briere did not make the trip. He continues to skate and rehab his left groin but told me today he is still too sore to play. He took himself off the trip. Don't expect him Saturday at home against Phoenix, either. I think the earliest we see Briere back in the lineup will be Monday against...
